About Us
Welcome to the Cambridge Speed Skating Club! Our club caters to youth ages 5-18 who want to learn the sport of speed skating.
What is Speed Skating?
Speed skating is an exciting and fun sport for kids of any age and ability. It takes place on an Olympic sized hockey rink. An ideal opportunity for kids looking for a fun recreational sport, cross-training sport or for those with competition goals like seven of our members who reached the Olympic level. Speed skating is a co-ed sport where children practice, train and race together in a fun and supportive setting. It is a great alternative for kids looking for a winter sport different from the mainstream.
Come down and check us out at the Hespeler Arena on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 5:30pm. from September through March.

About Us
2013 was a historic year for the members of the Galt Curling Club. It was 175 years ago this season that the first documented curling occurred and that the original club was formed. This makes the Galt Curling Club the fourth oldest curling club that is still in existence in Ontario today.
