Active Cambridge

Cambridge Adult Team Sports started in summer of 2011 with the passion to bring ultimate frisbee and other adult team sports to Cambridge.  In their first year they managed to start the very first ultimate frisbee league and co-ed flag football league in Cambridge.  They started with only 4 ultimate frisbee teams and 4 flag football teams in the summer.  They grew to offer the very first ultimate frisbee tournament in Cambridge in August, which was an incredible success and all proceeds went to LANGS Farm. They continued to expand to 10 flag football teams, 12 rec volleyball teams, 6 dodgeball teams and 6 in-door ultimate teams in the fall.    Winter brought another 8 teams into volleyball and now C.A.T.S. has a total of 18 rec and intermediate volleyball teams, and another 6 in-door ultimate frisbee league.  Most recently, they have partnered with William G. Davis to offer a Family Day Volleyball Tournament with all proceeds going to William G. Davis for new Volleyball equiptment.  A big congrats to C.A.T.S.!  A group of friends who had a passion for sports and friendships.   The success of the league in it's first year says it all.
